Carthage Problem - Lepki

Im playing as Carthage now that my romani campaign is corrupt (i think).
The egyptians have besieged the town of Lepki which is the east most town you start with when you start a carthage campaign. Now when i highlight all my 2 troop cards and 2 family members to attack the egyptian army nothing happens. My mouse cursor turns into a hour glass and stays that way and i have to pretty much shut down the game with task manager. WTF is going on with this mod? I really dont want to go back to RTR but i feel like i have to so i can finish a campaign.

FYI, i have all the fixes already.
