Angry Game Crashing (lost two long campaigns because of this)

ok so I finally got EB working on my PC and I started campaign as KH everything was going great, (I had sicily conquered, southern italy, western turkey and all of greece) than I get into a battle and as the game is loading for the battle to start it crashes, as it gets to the end of the loading bar. so I'm thinking "no worries I'll just load my last saved game" so, I load only to have the same thing happen. (regular save and auto-save) frustrated I take off RTW completly and re-install everything including EB and start a new campaign as Baktria once again everything is going swimmingly I had been beating down the Seleucids and Rauka Sauka than I end my turn to have the game crash and get a message saying "Runtime Error". (this message comes up as soon as the Aedui take their turn) I can still reload my game but I can't end turn without this happening. I'm getting really sick of this game crashing and spending time on campaigns only to have it go down the.....

Edit* just downloaded the script fix and that didn't fix it.

This sounds like a hardware problem though.

You may want to try to follow its instructions as well.

Unfortunatly I can not post my save game because I have to transfer it from my other computer via a disk (and I don't think my other computer has record now) because my other computer does not have internet access

    Playing 1.0.

    No unofficial mods.

Tried the script fix and I'm about to try the others

I always enable the background script and it crashes regardless

Yes I have tried it 3 or more times with the same results

When it happens the AI is taking it's turn (aedui)

Now I have tried all the fixes. I'm still having the same problem. I think im just going to delete my saved game I don't think it's worth all of this trouble.

    By the way:

Will these problems be resolved in EB 1.1?

What are your system specs? Particularly a low amount of RAM can cause instability, and EB requires a lot more than vanilla.

like I said I don't have any programs on that other computer that can copy data to disks (this one does have a program for that though) and the other computer is the one with the saved games, also that other computer does not have internet access.

In that case you cannot possibly have tried the fixes as it involves file manipulation ? You can use Windows Explorer to copy files. It is part of any Windows installation. Note that there is a difference between Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer, although they (nearly) seamlessly pass any content to the other.

I tried all of the permanent fixes by putting them on this computer than putting them on a disk and taking them over to my other computer. I just can't do that vice versa. (getting things from my other computer and putting them on here.)
