Is there any way you can get your enemy to actually advance in the formation they start with at the very beginning of the battle? I hate fighting battles where the enemy is all over the place and all in diagonals.

It seems that pikemen heavy armies of the Age of Exploration seem to use battle formations more often, but the AI in general tries to win a battle and will try to outflank your army unless it is 3 or more times larger...
