I know it was quite normal back in the day for a greek fella to give another fella a good butt ploughing but I read that there was phalanx units that was totally made up of gay lovers is this true? Apparently they were all in each others arses as the theory was their unit cohesion would be very strong and they wouldnt break in combat as they were all bum lovers and in a phalanx the man next to you protected you with this shield.

So riddle me this riddle me that, is it true that bum love allowed Alexander the great to have kick arse gay armies? And is this represented in the greek units?
