Thread: CTD when going into battle

Default CTD when going into battle

I'm positive that this has been asked several time before, but every 10 or so battles my game crashed rather than go to the battle map, it isn't that huge of a problem since I save so often and I have never lost any unsaved moves, but still, it gets pretty annoying having to load the game back up again every time it happens.

No, no it hasn't been asked before. Perhaps you don't have much RAM?

Having problems getting EB2 to run? Try these solutions.

I think something is wrong with my computer, I'm supposed to have like 1024 mb of DDR SDram, and have all kinds of other stuff, but any game from the last few years runs slow.

You could try to run memtest overnight, it would detect any faults with your current memory. I can't really think of much else that could cause it, 1GB should be enough for stable running for more than 10 battles despite the memory leak . In the validation thread there's a link to some technical measures you can take for more stable running of any RTW mod, you should take a look if you haven't already.
