    Default Scripted Eleutheroi

    Hi,

i played a campaign as Lusotannan, expanding nicely, when i came across the scripted defense of the two north-eastern towns on the iberian peninsula. My army closed in on the southern one, laying siege to it. In the Eleutheroi turn, the defending field army charged me, outnumbering me 3:1 together with the town's defense. When i clicked on the flag ordering my army to withdraw, it disappeared. On my next turn, i got a message about my faction leader (army leader) dead, and the army had disappeared.
    Strange thing.

Possibly there was no valid tile to retreat to. I can't see anything we could do about it anyway. I suggest you heed the warnings next time and choose your battles more wisely .

I had something like this happen to me as Carthage. I retreated from a Ptolomy army and my army just disappeared!

Did the message say how your faction leader died? i.e. was it of old age?
