Thread: Sabyn recruitment

    Default Sabyn recruitment

Hail EB Team, you are the Gods!

Where is Khelvan? I wonder if my wife hunted him down because I play too much. I fear to think what may have happened.

I have finally gotten around to a Saba campaign. I crossed the Red and took Axum and Meroe. I have built regional and factional Mics to the max and cannot recruit elephants or Ethiopian gaurds or swordsman. And none of these are listed in the recruitment viewer.

EB team,The Errant or Bovi, can you tell me about this?

To the rest of EB team, I only post when I know it will be impossible for her to discover you.

I checked and it doesn't look like Saba gets elephants... (in Africa)...

Khelvan has become very busy with his RL work and does not have the time to mod much anymore. It's been several months since he withdrew from the EB front lines.

Having problems getting EB2 to run? Try these solutions.

Saba indeed appears to have a very sparse recruitment list in southern africa.

I imagine all the factions have very limited recruitment in South Africa. Also in North America and Australia.

    Touché.

Here is a graph to illustrate the point."

I wouldn't really give the Zulus terribly good odds in a straight fight against a proper Celtic army (the cavalry alone does wonders to tilt the balance), but in any case they're a 18th century AD developement... even their distant forebears didn't arrive in the region before something like the 800s...

But let's not lose the POV... aren't Sabaeans supposed to be able to get all Ethiopian troops, including some even the Yellows can't get?

Not including some even the Yellows can't get- every Ethiopian unit should be available to every faction (save for the possible exception of some elephant units) *but* some missing EDB code means some missing AOR...

Only the Saba currently have an AOR for most of 'em; but still lack one unit. If you copy/paste the AOR of the Bush Elephants this will make a correct and intended AOR for your Ethiopian Swordsmen. (You need to look up the proper name in EDU first, though.)
