    How do I put my lecture notes as loading screens, so that I can revise on my studies as I wait for my EB battle to load?

    Why not just read them on your lap?

    That's a good idea. I might actually do that with my psychology notes...

    I could be wrong about this, but I believe if you scan your notes into your computer, then convert the files to TGA's, you could just put them in:

    C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\EB\Data\loading_screen

    Hope that helps!

    This is the best idea I've heard all my life, finally a way to balance addiction with studies!

    Calliclesm I've tried reading them on my lap... I end up leaning back on my chair and looking at the pretty EB loading screen picture anyways..lol

    There's something with quotes as well... Which means your notes will appear as quotes on the loading screen...

    I don't plan on actually STUDYING while I wait for the game to load. Just a quick refresher. You know, like, reminding yourself what is the capital of Zimbabwe, the date of Zamaica's independence, etc. Just a few bullet points.

    i don't know man... think about it... think about it terms of "opportunity costs"
    Like this:

    First you find the net profit of the two ways:

    A=Benefits in memory retention - Costs in Hours of Combining an upcoming exam about Ancient Attic Greek with (modding) EB.

    B=Benefits in memeroy retention - Cost in Hours of regular studing.

    A is the net profit of the EB way.
    B is the net profit of the regular way.

    The next step is to compare the two

    X= A - B

    Y= B - A

    Which is greater X or Y????

    Well, which do you think? You could argue that you will cover more relevant data through B, but equally, since option A is more fun and therefore stimulating, you might end up picking up more information in the end.

    Sadly, When I was in university, the best I had access to was AOEII, which inexplicably lacked any way to add geology notes.

    Not exactly it varies from individual to individual....

    and use Memory Retention/Hour of Study
    ex:
    8pages/hour when reading an english book.
    etc....

    Or, you could just tape the document to the top of your monitor, and flip it over when the battle comes up. How much work would it take, compared to actually putting in those notes in the EB loading screen and making sure they work.
