Battle-Screen Blackness

So judging by all ive read, (now about 100 different threads on about a dozen forums) there are a whooole slew of graphics issues with MTW. Anyway, I just got MTW Gold edition. It runs pretty much fine except for occasional crashes (like when i try and wack the argoneese faction as the english, but thats another problem) In certain battles, i think its just large scale ones, my screen is black and everything is all flashy and i get all kinds of fun redraw shit happening. Sooo, after searchin around i havent found the answer, anyone got any clever ideas? <- I couldnt resist using that

Hi mate
did you know there s a patch for the MTW gold edition ?? if not download it and install it. If this wont work then maybe its a grafic problem

If the patch doesn't help, I'd guess you have an NVidea card and will need to roll back drivers to something primitive... it sounds a lot like the problem I had (GeForce 5200) which was solved by an old driver
