Problem with eb1.0

Campaing and custom battle are working. But, there are some strange things:
1)at custom battle, choosing the roman faction, all the units available are mercenaries, there is no principe, hastati or legionary.
2)Some units are displayed as the peasants from Rome Total War Vanilla, and, when i start a battle with them, an Error message apears.
3)When i go to options, it says that the game's version is helix4.
But, anyway it's working, i'll download helix 7, and then we see what hapens :)

I think I forgot to say thank you for your persistence in this. It's tedious business to find which part of the changes are causing problems, when it only affects a tiny number of people. If Helix7 works as well, there are very few changes left, so the remaining work will be rather short. I'll basically make an archive of the revision that is halfway between 6 and 7 if 7 doesn't work, and halfway between 7 and 1.0 if 7 works.

1) That sounds very weird indeed. Perhaps it is corrupted in some way . Still, as you say, it loads...

2) Some UI was missing until the last point in development, so I think this is okay.

3) Yeah, we didn't bother to create a new screen at that point.

For 1. have you switched the EDU around?

Oh yeah, I missed that he said custom battles. That is quite okay then, expected behaviour.

Helix 7 is working, i can load custom battle and start campaings.
The version that apears at options screen is 1.
I Still can't choose the roman units, like principes and legionary, at custom battle. Strategos Alexandros, i realy don't know what EDU is this :), sorry.
Ah... another thing that i forgot to say before... The Barbarian faction's musics are strange, all i can hear is some strange noises that i realt can't describe.
But, anyway, Helix7 is working, very surprising to me, because i tought the game would crash at helix 6 or 5 :)... And after all, i'll try to instal EB1.0 again, my computer is 1giga ram now, i want to see if it could change in some way the behaviour of the game...

Okay, you do that. In the meantime, I'll compile an archive that is halfway from H7 to 1.0.

Edit: That will have to wait for about an hour, I've found something that could restore my harddisk.

1.0 installed... but is still like before, can't start camaping or custom battle...
