    Default Barbarian invasions

I've been playing my Romani campaign for quite awhile now and I was wondering what would happen if I installed the BI expansion and continued to play the same campaign? Would it be bad? Would the AI just change as if I had started a new campaign? Would I even be able to load my saved games?

No need to install BI completly, you only need the exe to play. And yes, you can
change it midgame and its save game compatible.

If someone has barbarian invasions do you think it is worth installing it (in terms of EB gameplay)? Also where does BI.exe go to?

    Yep, it ís worth it.

Mucho better AI + Naval Invasions.

I recall the Arche Seleukeia taking Salamis pretty early on, and the Ptolemaioi Rhodos.

    It definitely is worth it.

For the other question, the BI.exe goes in the folder (example):

    "C:/Program Files/Activision/Rome - Total War/"

the AI with BI is generally more aggressive and intelligent, and apparently loves to do naval invasions (sometimes just 3/4 units with a rather annoying results, but often more well built armies)
I've noticed also an odd thing in my brief Romani campaign with BI (before the savegame becomed corrupt ): a 8 full-strenght unit KH army travelled from mainland greece to northern italy by foot crossing all Illyria

For those that are not so computer savvy, how would one install the BI.exe over an existing 1.5 game? Can the BI.exe be pulled directly off of the BI CD? Any guidance would be appreicated.

    Thank you,
    Bohica

    Using 7zip, maybe?

    I'm not sure, though.
