well madmatg told me he got MP working.... but I am still awaiting confirmation of the faction unit issues.

In MP, many iconic local troops for each faction are missing (like classical hoplites for greece) and the Romans have no Romanunits except equites.

You just both put in the same multiplayer EDU. Oh and you also need the same version of the map.rwm. I don't see what the problem is?

I don't see what the problem is either, but I haven't played it, so...

From what they have told me it seems that the custom battle edus are broken, and don't have the full selecation of units avalible. But I find that hard to belive, as nobody has complained that custom battles are broken, and I ma sure somebody would have if they were....

So IDK.

It's not that the can't be played, it's just that many factions are missing iconic troops. The one example that sticks out are the Romans. The only Roman troops they can use in cussom battles are the generals and equites.
