I don't see what the problem is either, but I haven't played it, so...

From what they have told me it seems that the custom battle edus are broken, and don't have the full selecation of units avalible. But I find that hard to belive, as nobody has complained that custom battles are broken, and I ma sure somebody would have if they were....

It's not that the can't be played, it's just that many factions are missing iconic troops. The one example that sticks out are the Romans. The only Roman troops they can use in cussom battles are the generals and equites.

Read man. EB comes with a custom battle EDU and a Campaign EDU. Use the custom battle EDU and you'll get all your 'iconic' troops. Foot just explained this.

Because surely one of the mp people would have tried this, but they insist that they get sp edu rosters, so...?
