Units who are able to throw javelin will throw their javelin if they got any. To make them charge press alt and attack
I haven't had any problems with my Arverni, they are very well behaved. THe only problem I have is that in total annihilation battles, pursuing cavalry won't break off to pursue another unit unless I give them a move command to break them out of their funk, THEN tell them to pursue. And that destroys my whole tactical plan because sometimes it's the enemy FM I'm chasing, and the precious seconds wasted in the confusion leads him escaping to continue the fight in a settlement, or to come back at me with an instant merc army and a fullstrength bodyguard next turn.

It's not just groups that do funny things. Sometimes (stupid me i guess, but i don't want to issue move orders to 20 units separately) i use Ctrl + A to select all, and then tell them to move forward or somesuch. Well some units march forward, some march backwards, some just rotate on the spot, some wander off to nearby woods... it's kind of like watching an escape from a mental institution.![]()
Yes thats the entire problem. Units with javelin wont toss javelins. When using alt+attack in hopes of having them charge..they sometimes toss javelines. Its random bugs like this I'm expriencing in this game. I havent had this kind of behavior ever, just starting this week. Maybe I just never noticed in the past...Originally Posted by Beefy187
