Of course, now it makes sense. I was wondering why Constantinople on the map was colored light blue... >_<

Sorry to intrude, but please could players remember to compress savegames when using the Org uploader? Only .zip or .rar format files are supposed to be uploaded to save space. Thanks!

    Ah sorry,

The files were so small, the uploader accepted them unzipped.

Alright guys, please make sure you zip or rar the save.

With admin access, the GM can now get around you forgetting your password. Unfortunately, the GM can not make you less busy. Hopefully these type of games will keep going on and you will have time to get in on one.

Alright, we're going on three days so I shot Tristan a PM to see when the next save will be up.

I've said this before, but I'll state it again. I like to keep a brisk pace with games. I would appreciate it if you could do your turn within 48 hours of it being posted. If you can't, I understand but I'd like a PM or a post saying so. Simply not hearing from you for days will start to make me unhappy.

We're a community and I'd like for all of us to know what's going on.

Sorry guys... Didn't want to keep youi in the dark but I have had no time to get on my Gaming PC these last few days...

Moreover, I expected MOSH to play his turn on the Teutonic Hotseat so that I could kill two birds with one stone... As this will probably not be possible, I'll play my Crusade turn tonite and post it tomorrow (Friday) morniing at the latest (As I've told PK in a PM already)

I would have liked to have kept the pace up but it couldn't be done this time around...

    Thanks for the heads-up.

Yeah, I figured MOSH would have played his Teutonic save by now too since he was so gun-ho earlier. He hasn't even been online since Saturday. >_<

It is kind of odd that after being in such a hurry he's slowed things down twice now.

That happens sometimes, the guys who demand the most wind up unable to reach the very standards they set for others. I am impressed with PK handling of the game, the GM really has most of the strings.

    Thank you.

In the Crusade game, Tristan, Zim, Doug, and EF make it easy. I don't really have to do anything. I really like the gaming group we have.

I think we have a good group in the Teutonic game as well. (it's no coincidence that their mainly the same people.) I just wish MOSH would be a little more timely with the save game. But dealing with him is EF's job so I'll let him handle it.

It is a good group. I'd also specifically note that Perfectone in the Teutonic game has also been very good about keeping things going, and the one time he was out a few days he told us well ahead of time.

Yes indeed it is a good group. And EF is doing a great job as GM as well.

Save is finally up for Byzantium...

    http://www.totalwar.org/patrons/pbm/Crusade-2-3.sav

Sorry, i've just seen that I forgot to rar it... Will do it next time, I promise...

Zim, I've had the same glitch you had on the last page, couldn't save on the Byz loading screen... But I've noticed that I clicked inadvertently in the PW window and unclicking it did the trick...

Nevertheless, not sure, it had done something to the game I reloaded to my save just before the end turn and hit end turn again before saving...

One more thing, I'vejust noticed that on the Diplo screen, clicking on a faction shield opens a chat window and I've sent some of you simple messages to see if that works... I don't know if the reload kept the messages...

    Let me know...

Be ready to get some message of abuse should you strike at me...

Here's the save. I did not get the glitch that Zim and Tristan got. I think it would be a good idea if people continue hitting "quicksave" before hitting end-turn in case this keeps cropping up.

I will again ask that people zip or rar the file before uploading it. Just please do not use me as an example... because I forgot to do it...

Anyways, I did get the diplomatic message Tristan sent. It's a neat feature but I'll keep using PM's because I can track the message. That and I want people to get messages before they take their turn so we can "haggle". ^_^

But I will check my in-game messages every turn in case you send them. It pops up as a announcement at the start of your turn.

Yes, I'll keep using PM here also but expect some taunting by way of in game messages... (Doug, Zim, you're warned... )

Tristan, I think you already have a headstart on the taunting via pms.

    Crusade-2-5 is up!

Only one real battle, over Edessa:

I also fought a battle against the remnants of that reinforcing army you brought to the town, I can post pics, but it had such an obviously conclusion I didn't think it mattered.

I was pleasantly surprised, the odds were 1:1.

Also, EF, the general in that one castle of yours to the east of Antioch(Alepo?) had an accident.

I like how we put the link to the save in here and I'd like us to continue that habit.

So, here is the save for Doug: http://www.totalwar.org/patrons/pbm/Crusade-2-5.zip

On another note, I'm scared that roughly 2300 men facing roughly 1600 men could be considered by the game to be 1:1. Such is the joy of auto-resolve...

Such is the nature of low stat eastern units up against knights and armoured sergeant equivalent spearmen.

At least I zipped the file.

You forgot to post the link but zipped the file. I posted the link but forgot to zip the file.
