Here is an idea for a quick patch/enhancement for the game that would make management of the sons easier.

How about adding an image to the family review screen (accessed through the 'crown' icon) for the sons showing whether they are married or not. Such as a smaller wedding ring on that screen.

The reason is that I find myself wondering if all my sons are married or not (to continue the royal line), and whether I must continue to have my Emissaries ask daughters for hands in marriage. And, the only way to check is click on the listing for the son, and then open their details to figure it out. The icon on the listing would allow for a quick answer.

I've suggested this before, it's one of many things that has been commented on that needs to be easier to find. And who they're married to as well. There's a lot of info in the game, it's just not always easy to find it - there definately needs to be an upgrade to the interface to allow easier access to info.

Give my command to another, for I cannot, I will not, lead an army into battle against a civilized nation so long as the Gauls survive. There is a marriage indication. If left of the picture of the general you see a ring then he is married, if right of him you see a crown then he is from royal blood. Put the cursor over and read the message.

I understand the marriage indicator on the detailed view of the general- or royalty. What I think would make a good enhancement would be to include an indicator viewed through the listing of all family members which is viewed by pressing the 'Crown' icon. This icon lists the family member, their age, and general rank (if applicable). However, I think it should also display whether my son is married or not.

As I said before, to get that view I must find all the generals separately on the campaign map and then right click to bring up their details. The crown icon could support that extra little bit of information.
