Does anyone know, if there are differences to NapI total war?

No differences, both are MTW. There is an hardcoded limit to the number of provinces, I've never played NTW but it may be that the maximum number of provinces has already been reached in that mod?

NTW uses the vanilla provinces, all they've changed is some names (purely a translation issue) and used a different background map (MapTex.tga) - so for all intents and purposes you're starting from a clean sheet - as Caravel says, no difference.

If you're trying to get the Pike and Musket map to work with NTW?? I'd advise you to start with the basics first as it's not simply a cut and past affair. You'll need to change a lot, including at least two files in the \loc\<language> folder, the startpos files (extensively) and even the unit prod files as these reference the provinces where units can be trained.
