Backlash? What backlash?

I mean, after all, I only refused to meet them in battle head-on; backstabbed their Heirs and Generals most dishonourably in the dead of the night; and performed a successful "Bonfire Night" on their Leader ... They couldn't *possibly* be angry with me, right? RIGHT?

I received the "Faction Destroyed" notification after killing off the last General/Faction Leader...

I recall one thread mentioning this... but even with "Faction Destroyed" they STILL return?!

Cheetah, I can't remember my Sultan's stats (will post it next week) but he started off all pious and holy (he went on Jihad etc.) then turned into the most devious, conniving and untrustworthy git after his son came of age. I think his dread is about 7 or 8.

My Assassins range from as high as rank 10 (two of them I think) to as low as 3. Most have about 6 to 8 ranks of skill/experience.
