So if I unzip this to my eb/data folder it will over-write my inebriated fumblings?

Yes. It will also potentially overwrite some of the applied fixes depending on which versions he packed.

So, just to be sure, I will unzip that file. Then install all the other fixes I had again?

Will any bad things happen from this?

    Thank you all!

I will sort this out when I get back from work.

I will give the clever stuff a wide bearth from now on, and leave it to people who know what they're doing.

Right then. I have unzipped the file that Sassem very kindly uploaded.

I then went on to install all the other fixes I usually play with ie MAAs City Mod, Force Diplomacy and all the other EB 1.0 fixes.

I loaded my old Romani campaign and found that I am unable to recruit an army at all now. I assumed that one or more of the fixes is not save-game compatable.

I started a new game. Or at least, I tried to. After I picked which faction I was to lead to glory, I clicked on the continue arrow. Instead of going to the campaign map to play the game. It returned me to the campaign options menu.

All in all, EB is knackered on my computer. Time to uninstall and try again methinks.

Thanks for trying to help, everyone.

Unzip it in a folder on your desktop and then copy paste it to your RTW EB DATA folder

they are from this destination on my computer

    Activision\Rome - Total War\EB\Data

You can look for yourself what files you chanced by looking at the dates the files are created and then replace the txt files that are created/chanced when you were drunk
