Stop bribe?!

Try keeping a spy with your army... he'll function like counter intelligence/ secret police, and should slow down bribing. Also, a diplomat with the army might help too. Usually Asia Minor is the worst place for assassins and bribing, so I keep all three with all of my major armies. Expensive, but it seems to help.

But I am looking more for a possibility to stop it in general, so that the A.I. does not even try to bribe any more.

Its wierd people often complain of bribes but in EB I have only had two armies bribed and they both consisted of a single unit. I always play on Hard/Medium, why do other people's armies get bribed so much more?
