It's quite fun at times, like if you've managed to build up your barbarian capital (<3 those walls) and then you can go in and feel the atmosphere... Good for ze ArrPee, if you're into that sort of thing. You get to see your town, and perhaps feel a bit of pride about what you're achieved, or you could imagine how your faction leader feels, etc.

View settlement function? Sounds interesting, but what is it? Something that uses all those civilian skins that I've been pondering over? Time to hit the Scriptorium.

i use it all the time-
f i see an enemy army approaching to a city, ill use it to plan my defenses and unit setup- and see which points are possibly vulnerable.
