I listen the dishwasher, because I am banned to the kitchen when playing a game with a lot of killing sounds and shouting in strange languages. Nothing for a relaxing evening in the living room....

I listen to Death-, Trash- and Heavy Metal. This kind of music combined with the mass slaughtering of pixelsoldiers, creates a potential for running amok far superior to what a ordinary FPS-player is able to achieve.
I like to conquer.
In the strategic map, it's always the vanilla EB music. The same usually goes for the tactical map, but there I sometimes throw in "Fortunate Son" by Creedence Clearwater or "White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane. That's, uh... EB-music, rock and psychedelic rock, respectively.

I must say, Britpop doesn't fit EB, but that's my flaw.
... from time to time one the operas from G. Puccini.
Towards the end of the book, the Moties quote an old story from Herodotus:
"Once there was a thief who was to be executed. As he was taken away he made a bargain with the king: In one year he would teach the king's favorite horse to sing hymns."
"The other prisoners watched the thief singing to the horse and laughed. 'You will not succeed,' they told him. 'No one can.' To which the thief replied, 'I have a year, and who knows what will happen in that time. The king might die. The horse might die. I might die. And perhaps the horse will learn to sing.'"
I must say, a bit of CCR is a f**king brilliant choice!!! One of the most under-rated bands ever in my opinion.Originally Posted by The Vicious Monkey

I listen to the EB music. I just wish i could figure out how i could change the battle music to that of the SPQR mod... that battle music really gave me a rush everytime.

I agree. That is on the part about my choice being good. I'm not of "their generation", so to say - so I can't really say much about whether they're underrated or not. But in any case, they're good, and that's good enough for me. ;) (And a positive thing with this is that my dad's a fan of them, and he had a "Best of CCR-CD", so I didn't have to go through the pain of aquiring it myself.)Originally Posted by horst nordfink
I completely agree with this too. Horst might jump at the idea that someone might like CCR AND rap, but I do.Originally Posted by tapanojum

I'm not of "their generation" either, believe it or not I'm only 24. I can believe that some people like CCR and rap, just as I can believe that some people like cabbage and marmalade sandwiches.
To be honest though, one of the best gigs I ever went to was Ice T when he was touring with Body Count! I really got caught up with the atmosphere.

Or, at least I would, if the bloody song was in Swedish. And I could sleepsing - or sing at all, for that matter. Meh. At least I've got the lyrics memorized.
I think I will experiment a little more with music-unthought-of next time I get around to play. Which should be tomorrow. Ain't no way to win the jackpot without placing a wager, you know.
While playing EB, I listen to what I usually listen to, my collection of heavy metal/punk whatever you call it : Metallica, Motorhead, Iron Maiden, AC/DC ....
