    if im not mistaken that dynasty was the capetian dynasty...

    could someone help me make a proper family tree for the ruling dynasty of france around 1080.

    Its was the Capetians but they didn't long after the 1080s, being replaced by the Angivens around the mid-1100s

    Weren't the Angevins (Name deriving from the province of Anjou), the English/Plantaganet monarchs of England beginning with Henry II until the split into the Houses of Lancaster and York???
    I know the Capetians lasted until the house of Valois took over near the end of the Hundred Years War.

    Got me confused as well. IIRC the Bourbonnes have their lineage coming down from the Capet too.
