Indeed. I did some research on this a while back, and I came up with a coat of arms for Bohemia.

I'd like something like this, with the all red background replaced with Austria's and scaled down for a Count.

righto. how much of the gold leafy stuff are we wanting to keep. it doesnt really fit with the style of the coats of arms i can make with inkscape, but if you want it, youve got it :D (i will just copy+paste it from that basically)

edit: so this is the base, let me know if you want the gold leaf and whatnot:

    That looks great guy's.

    deguerra,

I just want to say again that you've added something to this game that is entirely part of the period and an excellent addition to the avatar ownership theme.

The history of everyone's coat of arms throughout the game will be fascinating to look back on when it's all finished.

Thank you deguerra, I think this looks Awesome!

I think you've added something to the game, I think that these coats of arms will help people have the 'ownership' feeling that TC was talking so much about. I love it!

glad to be of use :D that being said, I really don't deserve this much praise. Most of my bases are either directly copied from somebody else (usually on wikipedia) or just altered slightly. Then pasting new designs and symbols on top is no great feat, just a bit of time consumption. That being said I enjoy doing it, and of course I enjoy doing it more when I get such high appraisal

Now, for more people. Where's that lazy Emperor for example. Or the chancellor for that matter.

My avatar situation is slightly "in flux" at the moment or I would take you up on your offer. Rest assured that I would have had you create a complex and over-the-top coat of arms for a very over-the-top Crusader if Jan were alive or if I knew for sure my avatar was staying in his family.

Either way, thanks for doing this for us. I think it adds a lot and helps get people more into the game.

Sure, you can do one for me. It should be a pure Bavarian shield with some symbol referencing Gerhard Steffen in the middle. Perhaps an indication of where his rise to power came from: the destruction of Pope Gregory. If you could work an all-seeing eye into it, without the eye being blatantly obvious, that would be nice too.
