Missing notifications

I was wondering why there is never a specific notification when a family member or general is killed during a civil uprising, or even when a city revolt eventually overthrows your rule and joins another faction. Is it hardcoded, is there a specific reason that the EB team did not create such a notification, or did they overlook it?

Notifications like that are hardcoded. The game decides whether or not to tell you, for its own reasons.

The other day a town rebelled from me and I didn't even know until I saw it while scrolling across the strat map.
