Yes, it's possible. Just install and update RTW + BI and make two copies of that folder (you should always keep a clean one for future updates of mods you have and/or new mods you want to play). Then install EB in one of those folders, and the other mod in the other and you can play both.

No, youcan copy and paste your currnet instalation, just make sure you don't copy any eb files. (i.e. copy and paste the entire rtw folder, except the eb mod folder)

I would (and in fact, did). There might be changes to the regular files besides those in the EB folder (I have a faint memory of some EB member saying so, but I may be wrong and I leave the definite answer to an EB member) and a reinstall would be the only guarantee that no EB stuff pass unwillingly.

Edit: Btw, it's not stupid questions. Beats certain other questions that I wish not to name...

No, there are no EB files in the vanilla structure anymore thanks to DolGuldur, apart from the icon and an RTF document with some information at the RTW root. Still you might break EB by installing another mod in the same RTW. Keeping EB in an own, otherwise clean, 1.5 RTW is the safest way.

EB installed files in the vanilla structure in all previous versions.

Having problems getting EB2 to run? Try these solutions.
