    So, guys, on the off chance the new patch is not save game compatible, what shall we do? Trudge on without it? Decide the Kingdoms of Britannia live happily ever after and start a new game?

    I find the part about fixing hotseat scrolls promising, although it probably doesn't mean what I hope it does.

    my vote would be carry on without it - we're 27 turns in!

    I won't be patching until an official patch is released anyways

    we can always patch a separate installation if we want to play patched SP

    I was thinking of after the official patch came out. Game takes way to long to reinstall for me to use another leaked patch.

    My biggest fear is that one or two of the games I'm in will start losing players if some people decide to patch. I'm not sure what I'd do if that happened. In the meantime, I'm perfectly happy to go on without the patch, although I suspect to be facing a multi-pronged attack in this game pretty soon.
