Can't play, can't uninstall

I installed EB correctly, in a clean RTW 1.5.

When I try to play, EB doesnt work. It stop loading at first screen, the one with "quesque....". And I can't alt+tab, and anything. I only can reset game.

After that, i tried to uninstall it. But it doesnt work. Trying to delete EB folder from RTW folder isn't allowed, at least that's what I see in a message.

Well, Id like to know why it doesn't work on my pc if my rtw is clean and ok, and why I can't uninstall it. I dont want a 1,8GB folder if I can't play it.

I can't tell you why it doesn't work. it actually should but if you want to delete the EB folder go to your RTW directory, right click on the EB folder, properities, uncheck the writing protection, delete.

It 'freezes', not crashes? How long have you waited? Loading up EB can take a long time, especially the first time around.

Yes, it freezes, as the it doesnt start. I waited for 5 minutes. I thought it was enough because my rome doesnt need so much time. And I couldnt alttab tho, for what I thought it was the program runing wrong.
Anyway, should I wait for more time? If its so, I'll try once more.

The first time it loads (when making the map.rwm and such) it takes about 5-10 minutes for me, and I have a pretty decent computer. So, try waiting longer and seeing if it will eventually come.

The map is the biggest part of EB, and takes an age to load. Your hardware may not have enough power to load the map in less than a half-hour.

Ok guys,

Even my computer can load rome easy, in EB loading I didn't wait more than 10 minutes. I'll try it again and I'll wait more than that. I'll tell u if it works.
