Default I need some input on background music.

I'm working on website intro and I need some musical insight.

I need a music that will go well with a screenshot of M2TW:Kingdoms.

The screenshot is a single Ritterbruder charging, a frontal, lowest possible shot with the lance lowered. There are trees, snow, and blizzard all over.

Then I gave the screenshot a little makeup with photoshop, namely a brown-tone with grainy pixels to give it a old-photo shoot look (just like the grand campaign into in m2tw vanilla), and wrote some german/latin stuff about the Teutonic order in the blank portion of the shot.

I would like to use actual music from the teutonic campaign but I can only use the music the hosting website has on its database (think myspace, but its not myspace)... only popular ones are available.

Anyone have suggestions on a piece of music that would go well with the charging Ritterbruder? Kingdom of Heaven OSt isn't available either and im kinda lost. Im thinking Wagner or one of Hans Zimmer music...but anything that sounds epic and military weight would be nice.

Ill try to get the picture of my website uploaded at some point.

Take a look at the song called Ameno, performed by a new age band Era. Here is a videospot

edit: You could also consider Carl Orff's Carmina Burana, especially the Song O Fortuna.

    Wagner RotV is good.
Another choice would be the Clint Mansell song originally from the Requiem for a Dream soundtrack which was reused in some of the Lord of the Rings trailers (and countless other). I might be wrong but IIRC it is Winter: Lux Aeterna on the RfaD soundtrack. You will recognize it when you hear it, even if you don't know that you have heard it before.

Actually I was looking for this song Reise but everyone had different ideas of where it was from (broken arrow, peace maker, etc...) and I couldn't find it.... I'll check if this is available!! thanks!!

I am downloading it for you now as I type, we just need to find a way to transfer it. 3.5MB so I don't know if email can handle it. Let me know your preferred way.

Done. Problem is the version off the original soundtrack is too peaceful IMO but I will send it to you if you want. I will try finding a more martial version. I know there is a remix version of the soundtrack released, I will try to get that.

Update: I can't find anything. FYI Amazon has a remix version of the soundtrack for sale which might have a nice version on it but I have no idea whether or not it does. Sorry but I can't really do more at this point. Using the sound off a trailer for LotR is not an option since it has voiceovers.

But anyway, I would be happy to help you in any way I can, PM me if you need anything else (sound/video editing etc, I am no expert but I would be happy to help)

ReiseReise, thank you so much for your help! i think gmail can handle files that big so if u can help me out that would work perfectly: jwyoo123@gmail.com

The LotR version is good too, the voiceover is good...if you have that one I"d appreciate the Requiem for a tower (the supposed remake) as well!

    and thanks again!
