Anyone got it working on Vista ??

I was just toying with the idea of firing up STW again after a few years away from it and wondered whether anyone has it running OK under Windows Vista Premium, or indeed any version of Vista ?

And so just to answer my own question - yes you can run it on Vista Premium (32bit). I get the flashing menu page and it flashes briefly when I click out of a menu to go to the battlefield, but otherwise it seems to work perfectly Have only tried historical battles and a historical campaign so far, but its nice to be back with my samurai again. I have it set at the 1152 in-game resolution on my widescreen laptop and I am playing it in widescreen mode rather than fullscreen.

Game version is STW Gold Edition by Sold Out Software. No extra patches applied.

And, good to hear it works on Vista! Though I got myself a new comp with XP, it's good news. The longer operation system will be able to run stw, the better..
