    I missed out on these games completely. Are they any good/worth getting?

    They are ok, don't expect Thief quality sneaking though.

    The first because it's cheap. If you like it you will like the others as well, with a steady rise in quality with each game. Actually 'ok' was a bit too harsh, they are all good games, but I am a Thief fundi.

    I suggest to get them all except SC4. If you only get one, just start from the beginning, then you might play them from the 1st until the 3rd. Chaos Theory -- the third -- was my favourite, probably because it allows a bit more flexibility for instance with nasty noisy action which you can get away with (though it is very easy to perish).
