There's a crash to the desktop bug the crashes me every time I press the "end turn" button. This game has frequent crashes to the desktop; I knew this was coming sooner or later. It kind of sucks because I wish I had seen this campaign through.

I was able to resolve it by rebooting the computer.

...wow. That was anticlimactic. If that fails in future, try backtracking a few years, loading from an earlier savegame, and continuing again.

Had the same problem. Rebooting didn't help, so i started form another savegame and was able to pass. Unfortunately i'm in the similar situation again.
