Not sure what 4600 mg means - nor indeed $38 of espresso. I know I can cope with 16 shots of espresso in a few hours (and still go right to sleep afterwards). I used to have a machine that made 8 shots in one go, you see... And philistine university students don't understand good coffee - they prefer 'instant' - so I don't share (though, I do offer).

I guess normally in North America a cup of expresso contains about 100 mg of caffeine.

So if Demon has consumed 4600mg it would be about 46 cups in about 15 hours.
Well... since caffeine's half-life is about 4 hours give or take... the real effect is probably less than 4600 mg.

But people have been hospitalised as a result of the effect of 2000 mg (2g) caffeine.

Since Demon is showing all the symptoms of serious caffeine intoxication, he should take Ser Clegane's advice and go see a doctor. At least then someone with the proper knowlede would determine if the intoxication is severe enough.

If I remember correctly, Demon is not weighing much... this could be a problem.
