    Default rhodes & ship movements

after taking rhodes all my ships were destroyed and there movements were hugely reduced. i used to delete the map.rvw and everything would come back to normal. but that doesn't work anymore and my ships hardly move at all. is there a fix for this?

It sounds like you had a flood in the sea territory. Floods will often break a territory and make the movement permentantly stunted (thus why they were mostly disabled). If this is the case, you are quite unlucky. There is no way to undo the flood bug, from my experience.

Yup. There's a special file which has been called "descr_disasters_floods.txt" for the sake of not interferring & being easy to find & being easy to see what it's for. The working file is descr_disasters.txt which has all specified locations for floods commented out (as opposed to the one with the _floods infix) and should therefore not generate any flood.

And since it would take a looong time to check that every coordinate that has been specified is not in the sea region we will probably not do this for EB 1.1.

If it is indeed the flood bug, then no. It is an unsolvable RTW bug.
