Thanks for this reply. I also went online and found the same stuff as you, I think. And so I'm thinking that Segesta was in Sicily after all.
According to the Penguin Dicionary of Ancient History, Segesta was 'the chief city of the Elymi who with the Phoenicians retained possession of Western Sicily until the island passed under Roman control in the mid-3rd century BC.'
