Umm.... That has to do with pirating. So I don't think you can discuss it on this forum. Sorry.

Two people I used to work with had modded their DS to use one. They're also frequently talked about on gamefaq's swamp of a DS forum. I shall assume that you're going to use yours to read ebooks or something rather than pirate games, the most common usage for the R4.

Standard org warning: if this thread starts talking about the best place to buy a parrot and how to choose an eye patch that's really you it goes to Davy Jones' locker.

I seriously doubt people going to abandonware sites are there "just to read about games", and thus I seriously doubt people buy modded DS chips "just to read ebooks".
It is in my opinion that this thread should be locked, deleted, buried on a lost island, and forgotten for all time.

I could never mod my DS- I love it too dearly to risk it. My PSP on the other hand....

There are some legal uses for the R4, the reason Nintendo haven't yet managed to crush the thing, and so the thread can exist unless it strays from that.

I think it deserves to be discussed being shady as it is, it is an interesting situation after all. Nobody owns the rights of the game and it isn't sold anymore, those are strict rules. Maybe that is more backroom material though please don't hurt me

Homebrew applications are available for it that are not pirated. DS organize for example. Also, you can store legal mp3's, legal movies, pictures that are legal. Also, If nintendo ever comes out with downloadable games, you can carry like 50 of them at once.

I just wanted to know if anybody had it
