My new favorite unit! I have finally found a unit that can replace my beloved Hoplites, the Uazali can do everything but stop a Cav charge, I use them everywhere and they never fail. I love you Uazali guys!

They can? I always shied away from them because they looked so...unarmoured and uncouth. XD If they're really that good then I shall have to give them a try next time I'm in the area as Makedon or KH, as it seems highly likely I'll be playing in future...

They're basically one notch thougher than Peltastai if used properly. A truly capable unit when assaulting cities/flanks or guarding them.

In my current KH campaign, they were absolutely vital to my success in driving Antigonus out of Attica. In later campaigns, they faded into the background as thureophoroi and other more advanced units took over, but I still have a small core of them with 6 experience (three silver chevron). They don't look like much but they pack a helluva punch.

Just keep them away from cavalry as previously mentioned...

i love the appearance of the unit, the dirtied clothes, the feather on the helmet, the cool shield, and the floppy boots. that's just too bad you think they're ugly, too bad for you, my friend.
