Funniest thing ever!

We all know that navies can't attack land based units, right? Uh, wrong.

I had 2 fleets Poeni Tetreris dropping some guys off at Kart-Hadast for retraining, and next thing I know they appear in the garrison! I'm not sure if they just got sick of the sea and felt like a bit of a rest on dry land, but I wasn't going to give it to them.

There were a few rebels nearby so I sent 1 fleet after them to see what would happen. I auto-resolved the battle, and suffered a crushing defeat, with a retreat back to Adrumeto. I did the same with the second unit, and attempted to fight the battle, but got a CTD. Probably a good thing, my ships probably aren't too maneuverable in the desert...

Has anyone else ever seen anything like that?

I've never heard of anything like that. I've seen ships get stuck in a river mouth or something. But I've never heard of them converting into land troops. Crazy stuff...
