Thread: Hayasdan Crash

    Default Hayasdan Crash

I'm playing Hayasdan, v1.0. On year 241, during the AI turn (it's not the same country each time for some reason), it crashes directly to desktop. I've tried all the patches, deleted the map.rwm, tried with and without the script, and with building orders canceled. Nothing special seems to be happening on this turn, as far as I can tell. I'm not using any mods or BI or Alex. The savegame link: http://www.axifile.com/?4793528

I tried it a few more times (I'm stubborn) and now it seems it's consistently crashing after ending the turn only on the Casse.

Does anyone have any towns that are rebelling? Especially the Casse? If so, try using the add_population [town name] -4000 command to prevent the revolt.

Is there a way to check every town for rebellion? It seems impractical to check each one (assuming such a thing is even possible), but if it's the only way... *shrug*

i ran into a persistent CTD with Hayastan around that time too. what i did was switching the exe. i cant remember whether i started campaign on BI exe and switched to 1.5 or vice versa. whatever the case it helped me pass the crashing turn and afterwards i could carry on with playing on exe i originally started game with.

Unfortunately I don't have any other exe's to switch.

I wonder if there are places where you're NOT supposed to build "the conqueror comes" or a royal eye... (I tend to skim any reform faqs, and then flail at it until something works...)

I've seen a few rebellions, so I assume there's something specific that might be causing certain rebellions to cause a crash?

There's certainly something specific, but we don't know what it is yet. Thanks for your report.

The easiest way to check for rebellions is to use toggle_fow in the console (press the key below Esc to get the console). Then check all the cities of the Casse and whichever 3-4 factions comes after them.

I was of course talking about Danest's case as it's his thread. In general, check the settlements of the faction just moving before the crash and the following couple of factions (of course it's better to check them all, but those are the most likely to have problems).
