    Neue Funkspruch Herr Kaleun:

It is the best sub sim I ever played. Am member of the 100k (9times), 200k (3-4 times), 300k (2-3 times) clubs. best single patrol was above 350K IIRC. Sadly I gave it away, after spending many hours at sea.

BRILLIANT SIM. One of the best ever.

SHIII is easily the best subsim ever made.
I haven't played SH4 but from the sound of things it didn't live up to it.
So many good memories from this game.
It's probably the best adrenaline kick I ever had not to mention scariest.
For all those that want the true expirence, turn off external view.
This will make being depth charged one of the scariest moments ever.

Yes 100% realism is the scariest when you ambush a convoy. Man i hate it when your torps are duds on teh destroyers

    EDIT: Language. Froggy.

    Hunting the KMS convoy
Took me 2 months to find and 3-4 nights to kill (since you can't fight in daylight due to damm NAVCAP from Malta).
One of the most elusive convoys in Grey Wolves.

    Hunting the KMS.
Circles are sonar and visual searchzones which are supposed to overlap the convoy's projected path.

Thats a nice setup u had in the first picture of the convoy.

I got a question. Do you go for the destroyers and warships first or the merchants?

    Thanks.

I only target escorts if I have to i.e if it's 100% sure they will kill me.
Otherwise I play like ze Germans did, hit the merchants, tankers and capital ships.
