That would be the problem then. You need to start a new campaign and when you click on a city or army the advisor will pop up click on him then click the show me how button. Do this every time you reload your campaign.
No wonder you have conquered so much already. Most factions will have gone bankrupt in the first turn without it.

Don't feel bad about the script thing. When I first started playing, I made it to 200 B.C. before figuring out how to activate the script.

Most player's dont reach 130BC with the script, let alone without lol, that must have been a boring as hell campaign :D
Good luck with your new campaign, don't worry only another 600 turns to get back where you were, poor chap

    EDIT
And yeah for something that seems so obvious when you know about it, don't worry, I think everyone's done it :D

Except those who get tired of having the advisor pop up and see what he's trying to say every time you do something. I think it is amazing that people can ignore that for hundreds of times.

Having problems getting EB2 to run? Try these solutions.

I do NOT answer PM requests for help with EB. Ask in a new help thread in the tech help forum.

Actually, a while back I quickly scanned the FAQ while installing EB, and it was through that 5-minute reading session that I learnt about having to activate the script at the start of each campaign.

    Thank God.

You know, I always wondered about that. Wouldn't curiosity finally get the best of you, especially after playing for 286 turns? Ah well, who am I to judge? I ignore my alarm clock beeping at full blast each morning...

Well you would think that. As I was one of the people who went 30 years without hitting thescript button the first time I played, I can tell you that I thought it was just telling your random things to do like the advisor did in Vanilla RTW.
