I accidently didn't install this mod correctly causing me to have to reinstall eb. Which is a total time killer, so I completly redid my computer(its a pure gaming computer) and when I installed eb again (following the instructions given by this forum) it said I doint have rometw.exe! What's wrong? Is it my downloading or a rome vanilla issue? Please help! I've suffered 3 days without eb,(even though there is school and work I still sqeeze an hour a day) do I have to buy a new rtw package and try? Thanks to all who help ahead of time! Eb is truly theee best game I've ever played (and I've played a lot)

Sounds like you installed EB in the wrong place. The default install location isn't correct for everyone. Make sure you install it to your "Rome - Total War" folder, whereever that may be.

If you have Gold edition it will install to
c:\program files\The Creative Assembly\Rome: Total War

That's the thing, I don't know what I'm doing wrong! Here's what I do, tell me if I skip something..

1. Intall a clean 1.5 rtw
2. Copy it
3. Install eb from firefront (its the one which was used most)
4. When asked which folder to install into (I rename it to rtw) I put it in the origonal not the copy
5. it installs andi don't install modesty patch
6. I click to play game and it says RomeTW.exe doesn't exist!

I think my problem is very similar to yours, mine keeps saying "Missing Shortcut, RomeTW.exe not found".

*Sigh of relief* after hours of fiddeling with how install it correctly (not to mention 4 failed reinstallations) I have finally installed it and am planning to play! Thanks to all!
