Do you mean can a character who has not started with the trait Nobile acquire it during the game?
I'm not 100% sure to be honest, but I would've thought so. If a young characters father became Consul, then by right he should become a Nobile.
An EB member would probably be better to tell you.

I have seen this. He also gets a trait Firstborn and his father gets the trait homo novo, if he was a plebejan.
Why would he gat the fist born trait?
You ony get that when you are the first born, I don't see what relevance that has here.

In my Romani campaign (@VH/H) about 169BC, many if not most of my FMs have the nobile trait. quite annyoing....
Amusingly he was not the firstborn son, but I guess because he has the trait because he has "comes after his father" and - other than his brother who is dull/languorous etc - is sharp/charismatic/vigorous and has made a career from the beginning. And I have never seen firstborn before, so I thought it could be related to the fact that in his case his father has pushed his career by being famous and that everybody sees him as his fathers younger double.Originally Posted by Pharnakes
