Burgundian CTD

Help! I've started a campaign as the Burgundians in XL 2.01 and I keep crashing after battles.
Is this a bug with late period starts in XL? I don't usually start campaigns in late period.
I've seen some mention of a version 3.0 XL. Is there a newer version of XL that I should download? Does this fix the CTD bug?

Never having played the Burgundians, I'm afraid I'm not really qualified to answer your question on that. I will say it's the first I've heard of the problem, though.

As for the 3.0 version of XL, it does indeed exist; VikingHorde released it back in early October. You can download it here. Good luck!

I don't know what the problem is, but it's not inherent to XL2.1, as I've played the Burgundian campaign with no problems at all. You may have a corrupted save game or similar - quick saves between battles can cause this as the game sometimes loses track of results if you re-fight a battle

And @Martok, thanks for the link - reminded me I hadn't got 3.0 yet
