I actually also stop playing more often, than finish the campaigns. Usually some new mods come out, or even a new Total war game, and I have to try it, so I abandon the campaign...

Yeah, I useally give up campaigns as well but this one was so interesting, I just had to keep playing and finish it.

Xehh,
After 8 years of gaming, 4 major TW-titles and 5 expansions I´ve never completed a full campaign. One of this games greatest flaws is the lack of challenge once you´ve reached that point where really no one can compete with you. I´m not a conquer-all-kinda-guy. Here´s where I usually stop and restart.
With Shogun I always finished but on the other hand that game is more like an expansion as MI is. With MTW I usually quit when I´d reach my Glorious Achivements, same with VI. I´ve never finished Rome either, or BI but I did play Alexander to the end once then uninstalled it. M2 didn´t change anything. I have however finished all campaigns in Kingdoms with most of the factions.
Its kinda telling that the "game" that has intrigued me the most during the TW-era is actually not produced by CA - it´s EB. That mod enhanced my gameplay to some 4-500 turns instead of the usual 50-100. Can´t wait for EB2 to be released for M2.
IMHO there has only been 2 games in history that had me endure playing from the start to the end: CIV II and EU II & III.
Yeah, EB is awesome but I've never finished an EB campaign either, as Rome I hardly even made it to the Polybian reform.

for 2 years i didnt complete a campaign but since 3 years ago ive completed all i started whether it end in victory or defeat
its a lot more fun when you actually complete it :)
Yeah but sometimes campaigns can just get so boring that you can't continue, this is the first campaign that kept me interested the whole time.
