Follow the instruction in the download thread to the letter. If you want step by step instructions they are in there, if you ignore them or don't follow them precisely this mod will not work.

There also is no batch file anymore with the 1.5a installer, so don't worry about that. My guess is you didn't read the instruction when it said "INSTALL INTO YOUR RTW FOLDER, DO NOT INSTALL INTO THE DATA FOLDER".
