Greetings All !
Thank YOU! for tuning into FRONTLINE PAKISTAN!
I would like to open this thread, and post any alternative (non BBC/CNN/mainstream media) things I see about Pakistan here, relating to the NORMAL people of Pakistan. WHEN I HAVE TIME. Translated from Persian, this underlined phrase means never or rarely!
This is what the Taliban and Al-Q want to change in Pakistan, among many other things, the freedom of expression through the arts. I want to show you what they would do to normal Pakistanis. These guys, like this artist risk their lives every time they go on stage. This song is in Pashto, one of the main languages of North Western Pakistan and Afghanistan:

Just have a look at the crowd, all those people are Muslims. No violence, no hate.
There is no reason why these people should not be able to have fun in their own way. They are not harming anyone.
Another Pashto video:

The music is not my taste, obviously, although I understand a little of the first song and the lyrics aren't bad at all. Typical romantic stuff though.
Please do send us your comments, suggestions, critique and praise!
Welcome to FRONTLINE PAKISTAN ! Stay tuned !
