I always thought that Schengen was the Second Reichs plan to encircle Paris in 1914.
There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

Shouldn't the Dutch be more afraid since Poland is already on a major heroin route into Western Europe , what with the large numbers of production plants in Belarus , Ukraine and The Russian Federation . Plus of course with the new eastern states opening their borders it eases the routes from Moldova and Turkey .But I'm a bit afraid of drug smugglers. So in short don't be afraid of the west-east traffic you imagine , think of the east-west traffic instead .
