Just 600 000 (circa) - i.e. 1,8 %... which might add some 0,3-0,5 % to our GNP ( 6-7 % in 2007-8) and at least two times more to your so don't complain. ;)

Personally I am more worried about smuggling through Lithuania (there are many problems with that for almost a decade now) and Slovakia ( their borders with Ukraine and Romania) also our economy might experience some problems with lack of labour force since the Ukrainians will have more troubles to get a visa - there are at least 1 000 000 of them working in Poland already similar with Belorussians.

Still a great thing considering I remember when the borders were covered with defences ordered to 'shoot to kill'...
