From others, I got a $10 gift card, a bunch of candy, some Chinese things and a 17th century Italian globe my friend found at the Antique Mall for like $10...

nothing, but i got a belated chanukah gift and an early birthday gift: another gig of RAM and a new video card! (for EB of course)

On 24th December I got a new office chair, money, books, coupons, some smaller stuff and a cleaning cloth as pedagogical component from my parents
